Diego Busiol, Italian, is currently living in Hong Kong. After graduating in Clinical Psychology (Italy and Germany) he specialized in Psychotherapy and is a certified psychotherapist in Italy. However, his main interest has always been the study and the practice of Psychoanalysis, which he consider the most radical and extraordinary experience possible. He came to Hong Kong to pursue his studies and researches as PhD candidate of the City University of Hong Kong. Even though an extensive traveling experience throughout South America, Europe and Asia, he considers Hong Kong and Chinese culture as particularly challenging for the western discourse and for Psychoanalysis. Only in Hong Kong he has found that radical otherness that brought him to rediscover the traces of his culture. After so much traveling, he is now ready for a more important and rewarding intellectual journey.
